Held by Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) and supported by World Intellectual Property Organization China office, the first “Innovation and Intellectual Property Protection Conference (IIPPC) of Boao Forum for Asia (BFA)”which is undertaken by the organizing committee of the Conference of the International Science, Technology and Innovation Forum and Pazhou Convention and Exhibition and Digital Economy Intellectual Property Protection Center would be inaugurated in 12th-13th July, in Guangzhou. The theme of the conference is “ global system building for scientific innovation and intellectual property”
The conference would be delivered in form of the combination of both online and offline. The events include the plenary, the digital economy and IP Forum, China Intellectual Property President Forum, Green Development and IP Regional Innovation in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the briefing of Boao Forum for Asia Innovation Report 2021.
With the global economic recovery in the post-pandemic era more challenges and opportunities are faced in the field of intellectual property. As an important dialogue platform in the international society, Boao Forum for Asia highly concerns innovation, technological development and intellectual property protection. Holding a special conference under the framework of the Conference of the International Science, Technology and Innovation Forum is to further improve the global intellectual property system, strengthen intellectual property protection, accelerate the use of intellectual property, and support the quality development of the world economy with the intellectual property system.
