International Science, Technology and Innovation Forum of Boao Forum for Asia 2025 Hong Kong Conference (ISTIF) will be held on June 6-7 in Hong Kong, China. The conference will focus on a number of hot topics for discussion under the theme of “Transitioning Towards the Future: Powered by Science and Technology Innovation”, aiming at actively promoting international exchanges, dialogues and cooperation in the field of science and innovation. On March 11, ISTIF Kuala Lumpur Promotion was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In recent years, Malaysia has achieved a number of breakthroughs in many areas of science and technology innovation, and the government has actively promoted the development of artificial intelligence infrastructure, formulated a national strategy and attracted major investments to build a digital hub in Southeast Asia. As the Chair of ASEAN in 2025, Malaysia’’s regional influence is growing.

Mr. Li Guangtao, Managing Director of YI WU International Exhibition Co., Ltd., the Executive Unit of ISTIF, introduced the objectives and significance of BFA and the organization of ISTIF, as well as the overall situation of ISTIF and the policies for participation in the conference to the attending guests. The guests responded positively and expressed their intention of organizing a delegation to attend ISTIF in Hong Kong in June, and expected that Boao Forum for Asia would be a platform to continue to strengthen regional scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation, and to gather the strength of the Asian region, including ASEAN, to promote global scientific and technological cooperation and governance, and to help achieve the goal of sustainable development.
